Sands China Pledges MOP 10 Million in Support of Zhengzhou Flood Relief Efforts

(Macao, July 22, 2021) – Sands China Ltd. has pledged to donate MOP 10 Million to support flood relief efforts in Zhengzhou, Henan province, which has been hit by severe flooding due to unprecedented heavy rains.

The donation will be made in coordination with the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd., said: "Our thoughts and hearts are with the people of Zhengzhou during this difficult time. As a company rooted in Macao, Sands China considers it as part of our corporate social responsibility to support and assist in times of need, and we hope this donation will provide some level of relief to those affected and help them rebuild their homes and their lives."

Sands China's relief efforts are part of Sands Cares, the global corporate citizenship program of parent company Las Vegas Sands Corp.
