Sands China Pledges MOP 10 Million in Support of Gansu Earthquake Relief Efforts

(Macao, Dec 20, 2023) – Sands China Ltd. has pledged a donation of MOP 10 million on Wednesday to support relief efforts in Gansu province, following the 6.2-magnitude earthquake on Monday. This contribution is aimed at assisting the affected areas in their relief and recovery operations and is being coordinated with the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd., said: "Sands China is deeply saddened by Monday's earthquake in Gansu province and stands in heartfelt solidarity with those affected. We offer our sincere condolences and hope that our contribution will help expedite the recovery and rebuilding of the impacted communities, bringing comfort and support to our compatriots during this difficult time."
