Registration Now Open: GBA Karaoke King Singing Competition at 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival
With family-favourite Little Master Chef Workshop back again
(Macao, Jun 4, 2026) – The popular Sands Shopping Carnival is coming back this July, presenting both residents and tourists with four days of shopping, entertainment and family-friendly experiences. Several popular activities are coming back this year, including the sought-after Greater Bay Area Karaoke King Singing Competition and family-favourite Little Master Chef Workshop, set to deliver even more excitement this summer. The GBA Karaoke King Singing Competition is open for applications June 5-July 5, with no application fees required.
The 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival will be held at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo July 23-26, open noon to 10 p.m. daily, with an invitation-only preview session on the first day. Admission is free for all to enjoy a wonderful summer holiday.
ICBC ePay Presents: Greater Bay Area Karaoke King Singing Competition
Since its launch in 2020, the Karaoke King Singing Competition has become one of the carnival’s highlights, receiving enthusiastic support from the audience. This year, the competition will take place July 25-26 and is open to contestants from Macao and other Greater Bay Area cities, encouraging contestants to showcase their singing talents on the stage and compete for the “Karaoke King” title. The champion will receive a cash prize of MOP 10,000.

BOC Smart Kids Presents: Little Master Chef Workshop
In addition to the thrilling singing competition, the family-favourite Little Master Chef Workshop will also return! Led by Sands China’s food and beverage team, the workshop has attracted a total of over 2,200 participants over the past six years, allowing children to unleash their culinary talent through interactive activities and enjoy a fun time cooking with their parents. The workshop will be held daily throughout the carnival, with on-site registration opening 45 minutes before each session. Participation is free.
Busking Corner
The Busking Corner will also be open again at the carnival. Anyone interested can sign up on site to become a street performer anytime, sharing their passion for music with the audience and telling their own musical stories.
As Macao’s largest sale event, the Sands Shopping Carnival has received an overwhelming response since its launch, attracting over 640,000 participants across the past six editions. It has become an annual signature event for Sands China and a much-anticipated summertime activity in Macao. The event this year is expected to feature over 580 booths, providing a free business platform for local SMEs, community partners and Sands retailers, and further boosting local spending by creating synergy between local SMEs and international retail brands.
The 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival is organized by Sands China Ltd. and co-organized by the Macao Chamber of Commerce. As a long-standing annual signature tourism event, it aims to support the Macao SAR government’s “Tourism+” development strategy and promote economic diversification.
