
Sands China Fully Supports the Tourism and “Leisure” Buses 2.0
Summer shuttle service increased to three days per week
Additional services introduced on public holidays
Discounts with businesses on Rua das Estalagens to inject sustained momentum into the community economy
(Macao, July 15, 2026) – Sands China Ltd. is fully supporting the Macao SAR government’s “Leisure Bus: Exploring the Community” 2.0 and continues to align with government initiatives to attract more visitation to local neighbourhoods. During this summer holiday period from July 17 to Aug 30, the company will add Friday shuttle services for its “Leisure” buses, complementing its existing Saturday and Sunday “Leisure” buses. Extra services will also be provided on public holidays including National Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The addition aims to draw more tourists to Macao’s streets and neighbourhoods to experience the city’s diverse cultural and tourism attractions, while boosting the vitality of SMEs, injecting sustained momentum into the community economy.
Furthermore, Sands China is partnering with merchants on Rua das Estalagens near the Hong Kung Temple shuttle stop to offer exclusive dining and shopping discounts to “Leisure” Bus passengers, with the aim of attracting more tourists to shop and dine in the community and creating more business opportunities for Macao SMEs.
Through the enhanced summer holiday and public holiday services offered under the “Leisure Bus: Exploring the Community” 2.0, Sands China will continue leveraging its resource strengths as an integrated tourism and leisure enterprise under the leadership of the SAR government.
