Westlife Concert: Technical Issue Caused Delayed Start on First Night; Resolved on Second Night

(Macao, Nov 21, 2023) – Sands China Ltd. would like to clarify the circumstances surrounding Saturday's Westlife concert at the Londoner Arena. The show featured an opening act, the singer Andreah, who performed for 25 minutes, from 8:05 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This opening act was followed by an intermission while the technical crew transitioned between the two performances. Although this intermission was only expected to last 10-15 minutes, it unfortunately lasted 30 minutes due to technical difficulties and some problems in the production setup. At 8:55 p.m., Westlife took the stage and performed their full set of 100 minutes. Sands China regrets any confusion among audience members due to the delay.

Adjustments were subsequently made to the transition process and there was no similar delay between the opening act and Westlife on Sunday, the second night of the show. Sands China will continue to bring in more top-tier entertainment shows to further boost Macao's concert economy as it strives to establish itself as the City of Performing Arts.
