Sands China Honours More Than 1,000 Long-Serving Team Members

Upholding the company’s commitment to placing team members at its heart
with 91% of local residents in management roles

(Macao, Jun 3, 2025) – Sands China recently honoured more than 1,000 team members who are celebrating their 20-year, 15-year, and 10-year company anniversaries in 2025 by holding long-service ceremonies in April, in appreciation of their spirit of service and their endeavours throughout the years. Sands China and all sectors of society have contributed hand-in-hand to the development of Macao, a city that Sands China has called home for more than 20 years. The company attributes its stable development and the remarkable achievements of every phase to the professionalism and dedication of its team members serving in various roles.

By the end of 2025, over 14,000 team members will have served at Sands China for 10 years or more, accounting for 50 percent of Sands China’s current workforce. Team members who have worked at the company for more than 15- and 20-years number over 6,000 and 2,000, respectively – demonstrating how the company’s corporate culture is fully appreciated by employees. Furthermore, Sands China has provided diversified development opportunities for team members, upholding its commitment to nurture their development. Over the past two decades, the percentage of local residents among Sands China’s management team members have soared from 20 percent in 2004 to 91 percent currently.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China Ltd., said: “Sands China has over 27,000 team members, and we are proud that more than a half of them have been serving the company for 10 years. We are also delighted to see that we still have 2,000 team members who have been growing with us for more than two decades. At the various anniversary ceremonies, Sands China presented trophies, certificates, celebratory set meals, and other special gifts to the company’s long-serving team members in appreciation for their contributions and commitment over the years.
