(Macao, June 9, 2025) – The popular Sands Shopping Carnival is coming back this July and will feature exciting activities that include a new Kids Top Model Contest and the sought-after Karaoke King Singing Competition, giving contestants in Macao and from cities in the Greater Bay Area an opportunity to showcase their talents. Both are open for applications now until June 27, with no application fees.
The free-entry 2025 Sands Shopping Carnival takes place noon to 10 p.m. daily, July 17-20 at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo and is open to the public Friday-Sunday and by-invitation on Thursday, July 17.

Macau Branch Presents: Greater Bay Area Kids Top Model Contest With the annual carnival always looking to introduce new attractions, this year’s event is presenting the Greater Bay Area Kids Top Model Contest. Children and youth ages 5-16 from Macao and cities in the Greater Bay Area are encouraged to apply for this free opportunity to challenge themselves in the spotlight and to unleash their vibrant energy.

ICBC ePay Presents: Greater Bay Area Karaoke King Singing Competition The Karaoke King Singing Competition gives contestants a chance to shine on stage and has been a hit with audiences since the first Sands Shopping Carnival in 2020. The contest is returning to the carnival this summer on July 19 and is open to contestants in the Greater Bay Area for the first time. Contestants ages 16 years or older are welcome to join and impress the audience with their singing skills and charm.

BOC Smart Kids Presents: Little Master Chef Workshop Always popular among families, the Little Master Chef Workshop is coming back, led by Sands China’s food and beverage team. More than 2,000 children have participated in the free activity since it debuted six years ago, inspiring them to unleash their culinary talent through this fun hands-on experience.
The workshop will run daily for the duration of the carnival, with several sessions throughout each day. Registration will take place on-site, 15 minutes before each session.
The annual Sands Shopping Carnival has become a signature event for Sands China and a much-anticipated summertime activity in Macao. It has attracted more than 540,000 visits to date. It features over 580 booths across nine exhibition zones and is Macao’s largest sale event, providing a free business platform that takes advantage of the synergy created between local SMEs and international retail brands.
The 2025 Sands Shopping Carnival is organised by Sands China Ltd. and co-organised by the Macao Chamber of Commerce. In line with the Macao government’s ‘tourism+’ initiative, it aims to support Macao’s diversified economic development.
