Our Sands China Academy training and development platform provides courses, learning tools, coaching opportunities, and one-on-one consulting to fulfil team members potential.

IN 2020 WE:

  • Provided 52 hours of training on average to every team member,
  • Delivered more than 100 live web-based sessions equivalent to over 3,700 training hours to over 2,100 participants,
  • Provided over 20 horizontal and vertical management talent development programs.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELLBEING

Throughout the ongoing pandemic, we have maintained active communication lines with team members to support their mental health - especially for those required to self-isolate.

Key initiatives to support our staff included:

  • Holding stress management talks,
  • Organizing movie screenings.
  • Providing 24-hour counselling services through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Introduced new leave policies to help our team members adjust to the new normal

SUPPORTING LOCAL SUPPLIERS

The Sands China Procurement Academy focuses on delivering practical knowledge to participating SMEs in what is a first-of-its-kind industry training.

Since its founding in 2017, the Academy, which is co-organised with the Macao Chamber of Commerce and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM), has welcomed nearly 250 suppliers to the program and 226 have graduated.
